Meet Alyce
Alyce Wood is a three-time Olympian (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024), a World Champion, World Cup medallist, multiple-time Australian Champion, and Australian record holder. However, being a Mum is her favourite title.
Drawing on her experiences as both a mother and an elite athlete, Alyce is a strong advocate for female athletes, working to create opportunities and pathways that enable women to balance family life with their sporting ambitions.
Outside of sport, Alyce holds a Bachelor of Communication (Journalism & Public Relations) and a Master of Business Administration (Public Policy). After retiring from elite sport post-Paris 2024, she transitioned into a career as a Project Manager in the construction industry. Alyce also serves as the Deputy Chair of the Australian Olympic Athletes Commission and is a member of the Australian Institute of Sport Athlete Advisory Committee.
