Meet Alyce

On the water, Alyce is a 3 x Olympian (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020 & Paris 2024), a World Champion, World Cup medalist, multiple Australian Champion and Australian record holder.

Off the water, Alyce holds a Bachelor of Communication and a Master of Business Administration (Public Policy). She is a small business owner, communications expert, public speaker, and charity ambassador.

However, Alyce’s greatest pride is becoming a mother to Florence in June 2022. Following her retirement from competitive sports after Paris 2024, Alyce transitioned to a career as a Project Manager in the construction industry. She also serves as the Deputy Chair of the Australian Olympic Team Athletes Commission.

Alyce is passionate about the athlete voice and ensuring the current and future athlete groups within the Australian sporting landscape are well heard and represented. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Sport Athlete Advisory Group and Board Member of Paddle Queensland.

Alyce and her husband Jordan operate an paddle coaching business called Paddlr which gives paddlers from all over the world access to an online paddling playbook.

Using both her sporting as a reference, Alyce talks about success, what it looks like, and how is may differ from person to person. She is a firm believer in finding enjoyment in everything you do, and the importance of that when juggling busy schedules. She can relate this to young children and business people alike.
